Marga Griffin
Jones is married to Martin K. Jones, and has two sons, Sgt. John C. Hensley,
III, Army, served in Afghanistan, and Zachary G. Hensley of Birmingham.
She earned her B. S. in Management, M.S. Health Informatics from UAB.
Marga has been the clinical database manager at UAB Dept. of Medicine
since 1999. She enjoys reading and travel. Marga serves on the Board of
the Alabama War Dogs Memorial Foundation and volunteered her database
skills to create the master database for the Alabama Veterans Memorial
Park, Birmingham, AL. She also did extensive supportive background and
groundbreaking research for this book. |

John F. O’Malley, a former U.S. Marine and Vietnam Veteran is
president of Strategic Visions Inc. a consulting company in Birmingham,
AL. He lives with Cathy, his wife, and their two dachshunds, Rolo and
Cisco, in Birmingham, AL; Ross, his son, lives in Birmingham also. John
is an avid reader, military buff, and motivational speaker. John serves
on the Board of the Alabama War Dogs Memorial Foundation and served on
the Alabama Veterans Memorial Foundation Board and did the initial Medal
of Honor research for this book. He is also working on the Alabama
Veterans Memorial Trail and other veteran related projects. John
is the recipient of Hoover Chamber of Commerce’s prestigious 2006
Freedom Award. |
